The breakfast was a highlight, with an excellent fried offering that really set the day off right. The atmosphere was relaxed, making it a nice place to unwind after exploring the area.
The room was on the smaller side, which may not suit everyone, and I found the traffic noise at night a bit disruptive.

We had a lovely stay at this guest house! With the kids, we ventured out to explore Sidmouth's charming streets and enjoyed the delightful local cinema. Proprietor Harry made each morning special with his scrumptious fried breakfast. The atmosphere was relaxed, which we really appreciated.
For dads, it would be great if there were more play facilities for kids.

Harry's local area knowledge made our visit to nearby attractions seamless and enjoyable.
The room was on the smaller side, which may be a concern for those preferring more spacious accommodations.

Here’s why it’s a mixed review
Our friendly host provided helpful local tips and a delicious fried breakfast! Cleanliness was spot on with a cozy atmosphere that felt relaxing.
Unfortunately, the limited parking required some inconvenient shuffling, and the firmness of the beds in our twin room may not suit everyone.

Great breakfast setup!
Had a lovely stay! Harry was super friendly and made the best fried breakfast, started every day off right. The garden seating was chill and a nice bonus for a picnic. Rooms are a bit cozy, but honestly, we didn't mind since we were out exploring. Just wish the WiFi was a bit better.

What a fantastic stay! The breakfast spread was amazing, especially the locally sourced ingredients, and the room was well-appointed with lovely toiletries. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, though.

This place suits me perfectly, providing free Wi-Fi, electric kettle, and a picnic area. I remember how kindly the staff assisted my elderly parents during our first stay. Highly recommend it for a romantic escape!
